- For all indicated figures in % variances, if the value exceeds 999999.99 or the denominator is zero (cannot be calculated), it is represented as 999999.99.
- Listed companies and financial institutions supervised by the FSC will be required to prepare financial statements in accordance with the Taiwan-IFRS starting from January 1, 2013. Unlisted public companies (including financial holding subsidiary companies that are not financial institutions and public holding subsidiaries) will be required to prepare financial statements in accordance with the Taiwan-IFRS starting from January 1, 2015. In accordance with IFRs rules, revenue is reported as a consolidated income; if there are no subsidiaries, it is reported as individual revenue; this also applies to companies electing to adopt the IFRS standards in advance.
- Consolidated revenue is the amount obtained by eliminating the repeated revenue between the parent company and each subsidiary.
- In accordance with IFRs rules, starting from 2013, financial institutions will report revenue as a net income.
